With the Red Cross sign on, will Dad still dare to hit me?

In the eastern society, the answer is yes because the parents believe that punishments will help to improve the kids behaviors. I used to be punished by my Dad when I did something wrong during my childhood. But when coming to my academic results I had always scored one of the highest marks in my class and hence , I seldom or never receive my Dad’s punishments.

Now that I am the father of one child and when I recalled all these happenings, I would never complain what my Dad had done to me. Simply because I know he loved me that’s why he hit me. I used to follow his punishment method rarely to my kid provided he was doing something really very wrong.

I hope that kid in the priceless humor comic could understand why his Dad had hit him although the red cross sign had been on.
